The business was established in 2014 by John-Paul Mulcahy, a Service Technician with a H.Dip in Computer Science,

Microsoft and Apple Technical Certification and a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from University College Dublin.

 

His repair journey started as a small boy working on bicycles. A few years later he began working as a car mechanic. However a serious skin irritation from engine oil forced a career re-think. This ultimately lead to a career  in computer/phone repairs.  

 

Some of his core principles are expressed through the business:

  1.  Make devices last longer. Every new iPhone produced requires precious minerals to be dug out of the ground using energy, cheap labour and depleting the earth of its natural resources. 

  2.  Reduce E - Waste. Every device that is saved from the scrap heap makes a difference. Spec up that old machine and keep it going for a few more years, reducing your carbon footprint in the process.

  3. Value for money. Why buy a new laptop when you can buy a faster, more durable machine for less money? Using a HP Elitebook you can feel the quality in the design. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about many new laptops currently on the market. It is not uncommon to see new laptops fail after two years. Many are designed without a fan and inadequate storage to complete basic tasks such as keeping the Operating System up to date.  

  4. Embrace Technology. In general, when technology works properly it makes our lives better. It helps us to learn, develop and enjoy entertainment.

Our well established suppliers are based in the UK, USA and China. Through trial and error we have found the best International suppliers in the industry. This is reflected in our very low parts failure rates and warranty repairs. 

 

Warranty Policy
​

We guarantee device repairs for twelve months.  This is a guarantee on the workmanship and parts used in the repair process. Please note this guarantee does not include devices that have been repaired after liquid-damage. In addition, post repair physical damage by customers voids warranty.

All refurbished devices sold in store come with nine months warranty.
